Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the VQF. As a member, you benefit from our services, our expertise and a strong network in the financial market. On this page, you will find the most important information on submitting your application for membership.

The application form and the other attachments are available for download as Word files and can be completed electronically. Our detailed guidelines will guide you through the application process step by step and help you compile the required documents.

Once we have received your fully completed application, including all required attachments, and the processing fee has been paid in accordance with the Fee Regulations, the VQF will review your application and subsequently decide on your admission.

Overview of the VQF Admission Process

Applicant submits the required documents

The complete documentation must be submitted in accordance with the guidelines, and the processing fee must be paid. The documents must be submitted by email to info(at)vqf.ch.

Preliminary review of the application

Processing of the application for membership begins once the processing fee has been received. Once the payment has been recorded, the company will receive the invoice marked as paid by post.

We will then review the submitted documents for completeness and formal correctness.

Request for missing documents, if required

If any documents are missing or have not been submitted correctly, we will request them by email.

Further processing of the complete application

The application will only proceed to the next review stage once all documents have been submitted in full and are correct.

Review by Legal & Compliance

The Legal & Compliance team conducts an in-depth professional review. Depending on the business model, additional documents or supporting evidence may be required.

Admission interview

During the admission interview, any outstanding questions are clarified and the business model is discussed in detail.

Decision on admission

Following the admission interview, the VQF decides on the application for membership. If the application is successful, the new member will receive written confirmation by post containing all important information.
