Dear Sir or Madam Dear Members With the entry into force of the revised Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) on 1 October 2026, the scope of the AMLA has been extended to certain advisory activities pursuant to Art. 2 para. 3bis and 3ter AMLA. As a result of this legislative amendment, all VQF members who, in addition to their existing activities as financial intermediaries, carry out advisory activities that are now subject to the AMLA are required to notify us of these activities by submitting a notification of change. We therefore request all affected members to submit the fully completed Form 901.2.1 to mutationen@vqf.ch by 31. October 2026 at the latest. Please ensure that the designated communication channel is strictly observed. Notifications sent to other email addresses will neither be processed nor forwarded. Form 901.2.1 is available on our website at https://www.vqf.ch/en/vqf-downloads and is also attached to this newsletter. Please note the following:
• Form 901.2.1 must be completed in its entirety. It is not sufficient to indicate only the newly added advisory activities. All existing activities must also be listed again.
• This reporting obligation applies exclusively to members who additionally carry out advisory activities within the meaning of Art. 2 para. 3bis and 3ter AMLA.
• Members who continue to operate exclusively as financial intermediaries and do not carry out any such advisory activities are not required to submit a notification of change. |
Thank you for your cooperation and for submitting the required information within the specified deadline. Kind regards VQF – Financial Services Standards Association |
