Complete enactment of the Financial Market Supervision Act (FINMASA)
At its meeting from October 15 2008 the Swiss Federal Council approved all necessary ordinances to make workable the new Swiss Financial Market Supervision Act (FINMASA) and decided to put completely into force this act as of January 1 2009. The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) will therfore resume its activity at the beginning of 2009.
