AMLA Basic Training
Basic training for financial intermediaries, advisors and compliance officers
The VQF AMLA basic training course provides participants with the key principles of anti-money laundering in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA). It is intended for individuals who are new to the field of AMLA compliance or who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the legal obligations in the future.
Participants receive a structured overview of the most important statutory provisions, the due diligence obligations applicable to financial intermediaries and advisors, and the requirements of the VQF SRO regulations.
The training combines regulatory fundamentals with practical examples and is regularly updated to reflect current developments. It is offered in both German and English.
Seminar content and structure
The AMLA basic training course covers the key aspects of anti-money laundering regulation in both the national and international context.
The main topics include:
- Fundamentals of the Anti-Money Laundering Act
- Due diligence obligations for financial intermediaries
- Requirements of the VQF SRO regulations
- Rights and obligations associated with VQF membership
- Current developments in anti-money laundering
- Practical questions relating to implementation within the company
The training usually lasts one day, from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., and is conducted either as a webinar or an in-person event, depending on the scheduled date.
Coffee breaks and lunch are included for in-person events.
